Anna Maio is a general internist who currently does outpatient medicine in an interprofessional setting. She is the codirector for faculty development for CIPER (Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research) at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Her passion includes interprofessional education and communication. She spends time teaching medical students and involving other learners including pharmacy, PT and behavioral heath.

Background: Creighton University’s Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CIPER), sponsors an annual two-day faculty development experience known as SITES (Supporting Interprofessional Teaching Excellence and Scholarship).
