Dr. Murray is Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS University, School of Pharmacy- Boston. She is Co-Coordinator of the Therapeutics Seminar course for pharmacy students in their third professional year. She also maintains an Internal Medicine Pharmacy Practice at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Background: The opioid crisis requires coordinated effort from health professions educators to provide students from all disciplines with the tools and skills to recognize potential opioid abuse and to effectively mitigate risks associated with controlled substances.
