Eighteen years of experience in program development, implementation with in-depth knowledge of adult education and theory along with veterans as well as their caregivers. Maintains a passion for instilling the importance of lifelong learning in a health care setting and have extensive experience supervising and administrating an inter-professional training program in a multi-centered environment as well in veteran educational group visits along with five years’ experience in collaborating and designing patient education and developing deliverables for veterans and their caregivers.

Background: The Framework for Action on Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice (WHO, 2010), and an increasing number of publications thereafter, have identified the need for collaborative practice to strengthen health-care systems and ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
