Mandy Jones, PharmD, MPAS, BCPS is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She is extensively involved in IPE curricular development and implementation for students and clinicians. Her primary research experience is in pharmacy education and interprofessional education. Regarding IPE research, she recently led a team of researchers from disciplines of education, health communication, law, medicine, nursing, and pharmacy to evaluate dialectical tensions among health care professionals in one-on-one versus team-based medical error disclosure simulations. Dr. Jones' clinical practice is in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Researchers from six disciplines examined dialectical tensions among healthcare professionals in simulated medical error disclosure conversations. Using Relational Dialectics Theory (RDT), we examined how communication tensions manifested in one-on-one and interprofessional team disclosure.
