Frank Borgers chairs the Interprofessional Curriculum Workgroup for the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). In this role he has designed UIC’s interprofessional immersion experience – that enrolls over 800 students annually - for the last five years. Professor Borgers led the team that developed UIC’s new Foundations of Interprofessional Collaborative Practice course, the basis for this workshop. In addition, Professor Borgers is Associate Program Director and Capstone Director for the Master of Healthcare Administration program at UIC’s School of Public Health, and is co-faculty adviser for UIC’s Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School Chapter.
