Dr. Denise Zwahlen, MD is the medicine co-preceptor for the Geriatrics Interprofessional Teaching Clinic at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. Dr. Zwahlen has a special interest in teaching interprofessionalism, care of geriatric patients in the long-term care and post-acute care settings and problem-based learning.

Workshop Description: During this workshop, we will demonstrate methods that optimize the interprofessional clinical learning environment (primary theme) by sharing an assessment tool that prioritizes patient and family integration in interprofessional practice (secondary theme).
