Dr. David Kelley received his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 2008. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at La Grange Memorial Hospital in Chicago and completed an Emerging Leadership Fellowship through the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
Dr. Kelley started with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in the Department of Family Medicine in 2014. He was appointed Family Medicine Clerkship Director at that time and still holds this position. In 2017 he was given the title of Director of Undergraduate Education.
Presenting at the Nexus Summit:
The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the current interprofessional curriculum model at a comprehensive academic health center. This curriculum proposes a structured academic and clinical progression of mandatory and elective didactic and experiential learning related to IPEC competencies required to prepare students for interprofessional practice and to meet departmental accreditation standards.
