Dr. Dara K. Rogers is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) and currently serves as the Director of Student Clinical Integration at TUSDM. She is the director for the Introduction to the Dental Patient course and is the Chair of the Clinical Progress Committee which she developed and implemented. Dr. Rogers also maintains a General Dentistry practice in Swampscott, MA

Background: The opioid crisis requires coordinated effort from health professions educators to provide students from all disciplines with the tools and skills to recognize potential opioid abuse and to effectively mitigate risks associated with controlled substances.
