Crystal Burkhardt, PharmD, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, BCGP, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Kansas, School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice and a Clinical Pharmacist at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Landon Center on Aging. She is the primary pharmacy preceptor for the Geriatric Interprofessional Teaching Clinic at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her research interests include evaluation of interprofessional eduation and practice initiatives.

Workshop Description:
During this workshop, we will demonstrate methods that optimize the interprofessional clinical learning environment (primary theme) by sharing an assessment tool that prioritizes patient and family integration in interprofessional practice (secondary theme). Interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP) is essential to addressing the healthcare needs of the growing older adult population.
