Mindfulness and Self-Leadership: Resources from the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing

A growing body of research has begun to point to the numerous benefits of mindfulness practice. Studies indicate that mindfulness helps enhance emotional and physical resilience, improves decision-making and helps to support stronger relationship, at work and at home.

This experiential session will include an introduction to mindfulness and also provide an overview of the role that mindfulness may play in enhancing one’s ability to serve as a more impactful, healthcare leader.

Interprofessional Continuing Education

This activity has been planned and implemented by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. In support of improving patient care, The National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
