Conversation Café: Exploring Interprofessional Identity Development

Interprofessional identify development is an emerging construct being explored by many as we design strategies to ensure that learners and practitioners can effectively function in interprofessional teams. Drawn from the more mature literature of professional identity development, this relatively new paradigm makes intuitive sense, yet still is not fully understood or operationalized as a key component of efforts to transform the current and future health workforce.  Together, session participants and presenters will explore the intricacies of interprofessional identity in order to determine its optimal utility for interprofessional education and collaborative practice.
